Our Mission Statement
Our values are the foundation of our work 🏳️🌈
We stand by our values and live them every day. Our mission statement serves as a guide for all employees and unites us as a team. It reflects our self-image and our attitude and is the basis of our work with people.
For everyone who loves diversity!
Making a difference together.
At AlleFarben Alltagshilfe, we achieve a lot together. Here you get more than just everyday support. We see you as the person you are – with your story and identity.
Our team is trained to understand the needs of the LSBTI* community. This is how we create a safe place where you can feel comfortable and trust us.
Our Values
Reliability
We are reliable. Our customers can rely on us – in terms of time, organization, and human interaction. We stand by our promises and keep agreements. For us, reliability is the first step towards trust.
Professionalism
We act in a structured, reflective, and professionally sound manner. Our employees regularly receive further training and supervision. We accompany people in complex life situations with respect and clarity. Quality and good communication are a matter of course for us.
Diversity
For us, diversity is not an add-on, but the basis of our actions. We respect differences and appreciate every reality of life. People with different identities, cultures, ages, and needs are welcome in our team as well as among our customers. For us, a queer-sensitive attitude means: being attentive to discrimination – and actively counteracting it.
Appreciation
We meet each other with respect, openness, and genuine appreciation. Every opinion has space, every voice is heard. For us, appreciation begins in everyday life: in tone, in gaze, in the way we work together. We bring this with us and also expect it from our clients.
Trust
Trust is the foundation of every successful relationship. Whether in a team or with customers: We create security through clarity, honesty and transparent communication. For us, trust also means being allowed to openly address mistakes and grow from them together.
Enthusiasm
We believe in our mission and in what we can achieve. Our enthusiasm is shown in small gestures, in dedicated conversations, in the desire to get a little better every day. We shape everyday life with heart and attitude.
Development
Nothing stays as it is. We reflect on what we do, gather feedback, and adapt. Our work is dynamic. We grow as a team with every encounter, every challenge, and every story entrusted to us.
Our Stance
Queersensitivity Life
Our work is queer-sensitive. This means: We see, respect, and protect queer ways of life. We know that many of our customers – and also our employees – have experienced discrimination. Our goal is a safe space, free from prejudice and with room for openness, otherness, and belonging.
Allowed to be human
We accompany people in their diversity. It doesn't matter to us whether someone is old or young, lives with or without a disability, what language is spoken, or what skin color someone has. We accept every person in their uniqueness. Our focus is on needs, not categories.
Involve chosen families
Many of our clients live in chosen families. It is important to us to make these caregivers visible and actively involve them. Biological relatives are also important partners for us in providing support. We communicate transparently, inform regularly, and include everyone who belongs.
Support also means relationship
Our services go beyond the purely practical. We build relationships, provide support and guidance. Our customers can rely on clear structures – but also on a smiling face, an open ear and genuine empathy. For us, support means: acting humanely.
Communication at eye level
We speak clearly, respectfully, and inclusively. We ask, listen, and avoid jargon. Our language is chosen to exclude no one. In conversations with customers and within the team, our goal is mutual understanding. We communicate in a queer-sensitive way.
Team Collaboration
We are a diverse team with different backgrounds. What unites us is our attitude. We support each other, work transparently, and address conflicts openly. Each person brings strengths – we create spaces where they can grow.
Professional and political commitment
We don't just design everyday help, we also get involved. We bring our perspectives to committees, professional networks and political discussions - for more visibility, for fair conditions in care work and for queer-sensitive structures in the support system. We always see our actions as a contribution to society.

How can the mission statement be verifiable in everyday life – how do you recognize quality in every application?
A mission statement only makes sense if you feel it during the appointment. It becomes verifiable through concrete standards: clear task agreements, punctual and reliable planning, respectful communication, and transparency about what has been done (e.g., brief feedback or documentation as agreed). Additionally, how boundaries are handled counts: What can be touched in the household? What is private? What should absolutely not happen? If these points are consistently clarified and adhered to, "appreciation and professionalism" becomes practically tangible.
What training and support do everyday helpers receive for queer-sensitive work – and how does this remain current?
Queer-sensitive support needs more than "good intentions". Essential are basic knowledge of LGBTIQ* realities, language, and discrimination mechanisms, as well as confidence in typical situations (e.g., handling outing-sensitive information, chosen families, communication with authorities). Equally relevant is reflection: How do we react when uncertainties arise? How do we avoid unconscious attributions? Good practice is a combination of training, regular updates/further education, and a culture where questions are explicitly allowed.
What happens if customers experience discrimination or feel uncomfortable – how does the complaint and clarification process work?
A good process is low-threshold: you can give feedback without having to justify yourself. Afterwards, a clear clarification is needed: What exactly happened, which boundary was violated, what is the appropriate consequence (e.g., conversation, adjustment of cooperation, change of daily help). It is important that you remain capable of acting and that protection and respect have priority. If you wish, a trusted person from your chosen family can also be involved – but only with your consent.
How do you involve chosen families and relatives in a way that helps and doesn't add extra stress?
Chosen family can be a relief – or a new source of friction if roles are unclear. That's why a simple model is worthwhile: Who decides what? Who gets what information? Who is available in an emergency? And what boundaries apply (e.g., no content from conversations without consent). If this is clearly defined at the beginning, collaboration that truly supports will emerge: family members can coordinate without overriding you, and you don't have to explain or moderate everything alone.
