Financing

Your support. Your life. Your standards.

AlleFarben Alltagshilfe combines practical support with good orientation in the jungle of services. We show you which financing options are available to you and how you can use them easily. It's not just about hours in the household, but about security in everyday life – with a service that works with queer and diversity sensitivity. We also convey this understanding externally: through QueerPflege, collaborations and educational work.

For all who love diversity!

Financing your everyday help

We'll explain it to you.

Financing is often the point where good support fails – even though claims actually exist. We make this transparent: What services can AlleFarben Alltagshilfe co-finance, how high is the budget, and how does billing work? You get the most important information here in a clear form. If something is regulated differently with your long-term care insurance, we will clarify it with you before the start so that you have planning security.

FINANCING

Four building blocks for your everyday help

These four benefits from long-term care insurance can be used for queer-sensitive everyday help — often in combination.

Relief services

Relief services

€131per month4h help per month

If you have care level 1-5 and are supported at home, you are entitled to the relief amount: up to €131 per month (i.e. up to €1,572 per year). This budget is intended to finance support in everyday life – for example, household help, companionship (shopping, appointments), care/daily structure or relief for relatives. Important: The long-term care insurance fund usually only covers costs if the service is recognized under state law. You do not have to "use up" the amount monthly: Unused budget is saved. Remaining amounts from one year can be used until June 30 of the following year – after that they expire. Many use this to call up more hours during stressful phases. As a rule, we bill your long-term care insurance fund directly. This means: no advance payment, no collecting receipts. If your long-term care insurance fund does not allow direct billing in individual cases, it works alternatively via cost reimbursement (submitting an invoice) – we clarify this before the start.

  • 131 €/month (up to €1,572/year)
  • Accumulation is possible — Remaining from previous year usable until 30.06. of the following year; thereafter it expires.
  • No application necessary

Preventive care

Preventive care

€3,539per year+ 8h help per month

If you have care level 2-5 and live at home, you can use hourly respite care if there is a regular private support person (so-called caregiver). This makes sense if you need help on an ad-hoc basis, for example, for appointments, errands, or in the household. You don't have to "save up" the budget as with the relief amount: Hourly respite care is paid from the joint annual amount: up to €3,539 per calendar year. Unused amounts expire on December 31st and are available again in the new year. Nothing can be carried over to the following year. For billing purposes: The nursing care insurance fund must generally know that you are normally supported at home by at least one private caregiver (e.g., also (anonymously!) neighbor or friend; no family relationship necessary). In many cases, we can handle the processing with the nursing care insurance fund directly. If your fund does not allow direct billing in individual cases, it will alternatively be handled via cost reimbursement (submit invoice) – we will clarify this before starting.

  • 3.539 € per year — You decide when and how to use them.
  • Entitlement per calendar year — 01.01. – 31.12.
  • Application required

Combination care (conversion claim)

Combination care (conversion claim)

up to 40%of care benefits+ approx. 15 hours per month

You may use up to 40% of your care benefits for everyday assistance. Care benefits are the budget of the care insurance for professional care providers (nursing services, everyday assistance). The advantage: Despite the conversion, you will continue to receive care allowance (proportionately). You still have care allowance available and can use more everyday assistance. You don't have to save anything here: The conversion claim is calculated monthly. What you don't use in one month is not carried over to the next month. We will take care of the billing.

  • Conversion of care benefits — Individually according to care level
  • Claim per month
  • Application required — We will discuss and explain this to you in detail in a conversation.

Care allowance

Care allowance

€347–990per month+ approx. 25 hrs. per month

If you have care level 2-5 and are supported at home, you can receive care allowance. This is money for free disposal, so you can organize your support yourself – for example, for AlleFarben everyday help if you want additional help. The amount (as of 2026) is €347 (CL2), €599 (CL3), €800 (CL4), and €990 (CL5) per month. Care allowance does not expire: it is paid to you monthly, and you decide what you use it for – you can also save it. The only important thing is: if you receive care allowance, counseling sessions are mandatory so that the care insurance continues to pay (CL2-3: once every six months, CL4-5: once every quarter). Billing is the simplest: the care allowance comes directly to your account, without invoices and without proof to the care insurance. If you combine care allowance with other benefits (e.g., conversion claim), the care insurance adjusts the payment proportionally – so you often continue to receive care allowance, just in the corresponding amount.

  • The amount depends on the care level
  • Claim per Month
  • No application necessary
